Iran’s ‘Breath’ to participate in LIFF

Iranian short flick ‘Breath’ has been named a finalist at the Love International Film Festival (LIFF) in the US.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Breath’, written and directed by Meysam Mohammadkhani, will be screened at the US festival.

The film is about the relationship between a girl and her mother as they reunite after an incident.

The cast members of ‘Breath’ include Mahmoud Nazaralian, Hana Kamkar, Elahe Pourjamshid, Sahar Lotfi, Ariyana Lotfi, Meysam Heshmati, and Bahareh Naqdi.

‘Breath’ previously took part in the 38th Tehran International Short Film Festival and the 19th Nahal International Student Film Festival, both in Iran, as well as the Kalkari Film Fest in India.

The Love International Film Festival aims to promote love and healing through cinema.

The upcoming edition of the festival will take place on September 13-16.
